Libcast Team

The leaders or the history of two young students full of ambition!

Hardly respectively 21 et 20 years old, Cédric Montet and Brice Vercoustre create Libcast SARL in 2006. Became a SAS (Société à Actions Simplifiées) in 2008, Libcast counts 10 collaborators and follows dynamic in full development.

Cédric Montet
After one year of studying in the United States , Cédric discovers the trend of the podcasting, already very developed in America and decides to take up challenge by importing this technology in France, already very slow in this domain. Before to create Libcast, Cédric was the founder and the President during 5 years of an association (UIF3 Productions) aiming at federating the different actors participating in the realization of an amateur type RPG video game : Role Playing Game. He had studied the Right to the University Bordeaux IV and Political sciences and the History of Asia in Otterbein College (Ohio, USAS).

Brice Vercoustre
Brice discovered the internet world very early. Enthousiast by computer programming, Brice creates his first internet site in HTML at the age of 13 years. After several accomplished Websites, he decides to develop with a schoolmate a first dynamic site calling more complex technologies. In this day, there is no blog or wiki, but this social web site generate more than 60 000 visitors by month !
In 2006 after studies in the University of Paris X in Economy and Management, Brice answers at his friend ‘s secondary school’s calling Cédric and take up Libcast.com together: the beginning of adventure starts.

Libcast Story

In 2006 Cédric Montet and Brice Vercoustre created the Libcast company to exploit commercially an online deck of creation and accommodation podcasts intended for the general public.

Few time after its launching, the web site Libcast.com attracts firms and groups which like to put podcast technology in their benefit.
So the two founders orientate their product therefore to the professional target, adapting it to problems of the firm and making it even more competitive ( measurement tool of audiences, players videos made to order, entirely customizable podcasts): Libcast Pro is born.

The product initially intended for the general public progressively split up into two very distinct entities. On one hand the simple and practical Web 2.0 service for the mass market and on the other hand a range of products moved forward for the actors of institutional and economic life, who like to benefit any time and anywhere from the podcast technology.

Today these professional resolutions are distributed in France, Switzerland, Belgium and in Netherlands.
